Have taken my private reg off car and been given a new reg but they do not issue a new mot but old mot has old reg on what do I do.

As far as I'm aware, the replacement MOT will be sent out within a few weeks.

However, the DVLA database will (should) have been updated anyway, so anyone looking to purchase the car would be able to see that it has a valid MOT, and details of advisories, etc.

Have just had old mot transferred onto new reg but they do not replace old mot which is still in the old reg but is on dvla database.
