Honda S660 - Trilogy

Remember the Beat? Well, the S660 is today's version. Sadly, Japan only. I'll get in trouble if I post a link. Australia's best monthly car magazine has a review. But you don't need to see a magazine to read about it.

Honda S660 - Happy Blue!

Honda Beat and Suzuki Cappuccino were great little cars (Daihatsu Copen as well). Such fun to drive but only over short distances. They were a little busy on the open road.

Honda S660 - groaver

I had a Cappuccino until my first boy was 6 months.

It was real fun. I used it every day and didn't find it tiring in any way.

It had been de-restricted so could top 3 figures (someone told me...). As your backside sat 2 inches off the ground 50mph felt like 70+.

Very short wheelbase made for fun tail-slides that were very easy to control.

I even drove it through 3 inches of snow on regular tyres for 30 miles.

I'd have another one in a second if I could afford to maintain and store it as an occassional use.

The new Honda looks excellent.
