Hi, first time on this forum although read the reviews plenty of times.

I'm in the market for a new used car for £5-6K. I've narrowed it down to a Focus, with the Leon and Mazda3 as reserves if I see a good deal. Golf, a possibility. My main issue now is finding a dealer in Glasgow/Central Belt with a good reputation from online reviews.

I understand that with the volume of cars sold, there will always be some lemons, and some equally poor salespeople who couldn't care less after getting your cash. However, I've noticed a trend that 'Dealer of the Year' type awards tend to overlook Glasgow, and have read comments on other forums that the west coast of Scotland is particularly bad for shyster dealers.

So, looking for recommendations of a decent garage in Glasgow/Central Belt who's stocklist I should keep tabs on. Or indeed, one's to avoid. Any advice appreciated, up to and including 'go further afield'!
