ford focus c-max 2005. - tailgate lock - Anz

tail gate lock not opening by hand when vehicle unlocked,can only be opened by pushing button on the remote twice, is this normal? have just purchased car.

It should open from the rubber push pad on the tailgate,provided the car is unlocked.

nothing happens,on that point, car is unlocked but still got to push button twice on remote.
