im the owner of a Zafira A 1.8 16v auto 1999 X18XE1 engine. Recently shes began misfiring slightly on idle and as the car warms up the juddering and misfiring becomes worse especially under throttle, ive also noticed that when im cruising around 40 the automatic transmition will shift to a higher gear so as the revs drop below 2000rpm and she begins to stutter and juddering, she stinks of petrol and is drinking it like no ones business.

Ive renewed the plugs, air filter, MAF,EGR, cleaned the throttle body and checked for vacum leaks.... Ive tried a salvage coil pack and nothing has helped.... any suggestions as my local garage are saying ecu whilst a local mechanic is saying to try a new coilpack
