My two year old CR-V for the last six months at times shows -40c with the external temperature gauge on starting up, takes usually a couple of days to settle down to work properly again. At such times the Auto Idle Stop warning shows and bleeps, approx 30 times recently in a 100mile trip. the gauge tends to show a somewhat lower reading after some miles but the problem persists on avaerage a couple of times each month. anyone else experienced this or any ideas how to overcome ?
