audi a6 - car fault s - bmw650

I have just bought a audi a6 2.5tdi 2002 model. I would like to know if this car has a dpf or is that just on new cars?

Most likely not. They weren't required to be fitted until 2008. Some cars did have them prior to that though.

I can confirm that they did NOT have DPFs fitted. I had one a few years ago, and put a new exhaust on it.
