My Girlfriend recently had an MOT on her car and it came back with 9 advisorys after 73k miles.
001 Offside front brake hose slighty chafed [3.6.B.4d]
002 Nearside front suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement [2.4.g.2]
003 Near side front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt [2.4.g.2]
004 Off side front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt [2.4.g.2]
005 (steering rack) Power steering component (s) has slight seepage from a component [2.3.3b]
006 offside front tyre worn on inner edge
007 Nearside front slight play in steering rack
008 Offside and nearside rear chassis starting to corrode
009 Both rear tyres starting to perish
The car is a good little runner and she doesn't do much milage so I don't mind throwing some money at it to fix it. Plus my local indy garage is quite resonable on costs.
Are these sort of things common for a KA and does anyone have any estimates on costs to put them all right? Also is there any things I should be more worried about than other?
Thanks in advance,
Peter
