A van. - Passed mobile ANPR camera but not stopped. - mikeandvan

Passed a mobile ANPR camera today, in my van, failed MOT a few weeks ago and havn't driven it since as tyres were low on tread, went to purchase new tyre today and thats all!! But lo and behold there was mobile ANPR camera at roadside, I was not stopped however. My question is will I get a NIP of any letter concerning this through the post?

Don't worry.

As I understand it ANPR is pinging that much that such minor offences as no MOT shown up is at the bottom of their list. Its the major crime that gets attention.

Excise (revenue) is another matter?

It was probably only a speed camera van. When they are checking for other offences they have a coned off area nearby (or a handy carpark) and officers to stop and direct offenders into. They don't then just issue tickets, they tow away your car.

Tbh thunderbird I turned off pretty soon after I saw that ANPR so I may have missed the follow up police cars!!
