Fiesta TDCI Zetec S - Engine cutting out - jojowad

My 55 Zetec s TDCI randomly cuts out when turning left in hot weather. The panel says its a steering fault, refer to owners manual but after two minutes or so it starts again and off I go.! Did it twice today, ten minutes apart after an hour's driving. Temp gauge, all indications normal then ...dead. I read somewhere this may be a dashboard fault (under the dash heating up in hot weather?) HELP!

Define dead. Engine will not run, all the dash lights are out, what exactly. Regards Peter

Take the car to a Ford dealer and have them run live diagnostics, that should throw up an error code or two and help find the root of the problem.
