Citroen DS3 BlueHDI - DS3 1.6 BlueHDI Juddering every 1000 miles or so - Owen Tooley

Hi everyone,

Bit of an odd one, my DS3 Blue HDI drives absolutely fine, but every month/1000 miles or so, it starts juddering. It does it at any speed in any gear and will carry on for around 10-15 mins or until I stop and start the engine. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?

This is the Ford / Psa Dv6 engine used in loads of different vehicles. Are there any fault codes logged in the computer system? They can be very sensitive to fuel purity . Has it had a diesel filter replacement recently?

No codes stored on the engine, and had a fuel filter replacement around 2 months ago. I can put another filter in if you think that will help?
