Very early cars may have been manufactured without a DPF and that also applies to AdBlue.

All diesel cars registered in the UK since 1- January 2011 had to be fitted with a DPF by law, no DPF and they could not be registered.

Not sure about the date of AdBlue implementation but unlike DPF issues all AdBlue needs is occasional topping up with a relatively cheap liquid thus I do not see an issue. I have seen very few queries about AdBlue on forums other than owners ignoring the fill up light and then finding the car will eventually stop working.

If it’s a very late petrol engined car , it could have a Ppf . Petrol particulate filter .

The VW Group V6/V8 cylinder diesels have used Adblue for some time but only the most recent 4-cylinder engines have Adblue - it was avoiding that extra cost that created the Dieselgate scandal.

To answer the OP's question, it depends on the year.
