You should probably have had two or three cambelt changes on a car of this age. From here it depends on how you look at it. The belt might break tomorrow, or it might go on for another few years. You just don't know. You have to weigh up the cost of the job against how valuable the car is to you.

If you do value it then I would recommend you get the job done as soon as possible.
