Towing capacities will be on the Mini website. From personal experience not all Minis can tow, the location of the exhaust and/or rear fog light can prevent a tow bar being fitted.

If you are going to tow and need to swap cars why not buy a more suitable one than a Mini. AWD is not essential, I coped with 2 Golfs from 1989 to 2002, both were front wheel drive and had to tow about 1200kg. The petrol was fine, the diesel was better despite being less powerful. I would expect a modern turbo petrol to be brilliant.
