2009 ford mondeo 2.0 tdci - Traction control light - smed706

Hi all . Can anyone shed any light on why when I'm driving along my traction control light comes on and my car goes into limp mode

Difficult to guess what could be wrong . Lots of components make the system operate . Basic checks,are the tyres in good condition?

my bet is that you have rusty wheel bearings making it dificult for the wheel sensors to get a good reading of the tyre speeds.
