Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 Petrol - Focus 09 cigarette lighter - andyj941

Hi I have a focus with a cigarette lighter that works intermittently, the 12v aux power socket works fine. So I'm guessing it's not a fuse at fault. Anyone know if it is possible to replace the cigarette lighter or clean it up for a better connection, has anyone experienced this issue?

Best bet is change it for a power socket.

It is a straight one for one replacement.The wiring plug is the same. The only issue is getting the old socket out. You will need to remove the console side panel to push it out from behind.
