My front wipers still work but i've noticed that they no longer sweep as wide as they did. It's about 1.5 inches short on either side, the height looks ok. I've looked at the resting marks on screen and they are now sitting above both lines by about an inch. None of the electrics seem faulty. Any thoughts please

It could be that you have a worn bush/bearing on the linkage that connects the motor to the wiper arm. If it's accessible, it should be fairly easy to feel for any excess movement.
