Has anyone used a OBD2 ELM327 coupled with Torque Pro app and managed to access DPF data such as pressure (that one at least) or even saturation %, last regen...

Or maybe I cannot see the sensors available to view on the Torque app because citroen ECU management is not allowing it?

I find Torque to be an excellent tool, but I use it on a petrol so cannot answer your question directly. Have you looked to see if it needs a plugin, there are quite a few? Failing that have you tried mailing the developer?

Torque only queries basic information. You need Lexia to get detailed information. Even Snap on and Solus can't read everything.

The simple answer is no. EOBD (or OBD II as it's known in the USA and Canada) is basic engine emission data only. All cars and light commercials intended for sale in the UK have had to comply since 2001 for petrols and 2004 for diesels. There are five or six EOBD protocols covering all makes, and a generic EOBD scantool should support them all.

For more specific and detailed data you will need specific equipment.

I initially did think so but read a review on amazon where he used a elm327 blutooth to read the dpf pressure before and after dpf treatment. He may have used a more specific diag and not bothered typing it all in the review...

I have a citroen and the wife a volvo, buying both lexia and vida dice is going to be costly...

Is there any real need for that level of data though? The car will regenerate itself as and when it needs to.

And if any of the components aren't working you'll get warnings on screen.

And if you just want a reassuring diagnostic, google "Planet Owners map" for Peugeot and Citroen owners around the UK with the kit.
