AdBlue vs non-AdBlue - which is best?
I am looking at a new Skoda Superb Estate. The two options I have narrowed it down to are the 1.6TDi Greenline (with AdBlue) or the 2.0TDi (150PS, non-AdBlue, just DPF), either in SE spec. Given the history of DPFs, would AdBlue be more reliable? The car would be driven 25k-30k per annum.

AdBlue is £15.99 for 10 litres which can last about 5000 miles so it is not a colossal additional expense. But the 2.0TDI is better suited to the car anyway. The 1.4TSI ACT 150 is even better suited, but not for your high mileage. You still need diesel. We don't have any feedback of SCR/AdBlue v/s a plain DPF. Usually means a tank where the spare wheel would fit so nowhere to put a spare wheel.
