Why does our new "one previous owner" car now have two previous owners?

In October 2012 I purchased a Ford Fiesta, 2010 plate, 8000 miles from a main dealer. We were told it had one previous owner. After a delay due to the wrong paperwork at the dealers I have now received the logbook stating the car had two previous owners. This would have had a bearing on my decision to buy the and the price I was willing to pay for. Your advice would be much appreciated.

When you viewed the car it had one owner on the V5C and "one previous owner". After you purchased the car and your name was put onto the V5C it then had "two previous owners". I agree, this is a bit of an obfuscation, but it is a legal description.
