Buying an imported Ford Wildtrack

I watched your great Ford Ranger video, then I went to my Ford dealer for a test drive, and I loved the vehicle, a little noisy but all the same, a great pick up truck.

I was about to put a deposit down on the truck, when I saw that a dealer is advertising a Wildtrack, 3.2, diesel, for £19,999, which is a stunning price, shaving a good £4000 off my dealer's price.

My question to you is how can these discount dealers do these Rangers, for such a cheap price? The discount dealer, was honest and told me that his Rangers, were not for the UK, market originally, but they been given full UK, specifications, and were of course right hand drive.

He may have bought it from Thailand, in which case they would not be UK spec because they would not have heaters. He may have bought them from South Africa, possibly via Cyprus or Malta, in which case they could be UK spec. Obviously, buying this way, you don't get any Ford UK warranty at all.
