Can my wife be the owner of a car even if she doesn't drive it?
My wife may well have her licence revoked because she has incipient Alzheimer's Disease. She owns our car. Can she still continue to own it, although she may not be able to drive it? Given that the insurance on the car expires in September, is it still be valid since I am a named driver on the policy?

We would suggest contacting your insurance company to ask for their advice. There is nothing necessarily wrong with your wife remaining as the registered keeper, but if you are the only person driving the vehicle then your insurer may not look favourably on this, as the policy holder should be doing the majority of the driving. It may be easier to take out a new policy in your name.
