Flickering airbag light

My father in law owns a 2005 Nissan Micra 1.2 and the airbag warning light on the dashboard has started fickering on and off any ideas what the problem is and how expensive to fix.

The switch has been partially triggered by a speed hump or a pothole. Can probably be re-set via the diagnostic port.
