Wrong date on warranty
I agreed to buy a Fabia 2 from a main dealer in September 2008. The agreement said that the vehicle was first registered on 2nd August 2008. In fact the car was registered in February 2008 and is now out of warranty.
In March I paid £203 to have a Lambda probe replaced and face a further bill for £460 because of an ignition fault.
Can I run an argument that the vendor missold the car and that it should be regarded as still under warranty.

A February 2008 will be on an 08/57 reg. And August 2008 will be on an 08. So you knew from this and from the registration document all along that the car was a February 2008. Nevertheless, you might still get somewhere in the small claims track of the county court if you can prove that the car should have been an August 2008 and should still be under warranty.
