Looking to replace my Ford Focus

I want to trade in my 2002 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec Petrol.

My budget is £5000. Is there anything better than my current car in that price range (used cars)?

I'm looking for a five-door hatch or a four-door compact saloon. The engine doesn't need to be big. A manual gearbox is the only condition.

Just looking for something that drives well, has a bit more quality and comfort and is at least as fast as my Focus.
