Buying a high-mileage used car

I'm thinking about buying a new car and it has 139,000 miles on the clock, is that worth buying at 700 quid? The car is a 2001 Ford Focus 1.6l 3dr hatchback.

That's pocket money. If it has a long MoT and nothing obviously wrong, probably worth buying. Short MoT, walk away.
