Are extended warranties worth the extra?
Are extended warranties really worth taking out? I have a BMW X2 and have been offered an extended warranty by BMW Warranty sales. The cost varies from £320 - £633 a year. Should I take it?

The key to finding a good aftermarket warranty is found in the terms and conditions. The list of 'exclusions', for example, will tell you everything the warranty will not pay for. That's why you should always check the documents carefully and compare like-for-like cover with two or more warranty providers.
A warranty that excludes wear and tear will effectively exclude most things that will go wrong on a used car.
