Is Nissan going to go bust?

I am thinking about buying a Nissan this month. I have heard some stories about Nissan going bust. What happens if you own a Nissan and this happens?

Nissan appear to be in some financial trouble, having suffered significant losses in the last quarter and profits 70% lower than expected for this year. Should the worst happen, any finance agreement you have in place with the manufacturer would likely be sold as part of the bankruptcy so you will still need to make payments. One factor which could be affected would be your manufacturer warranty, as it would depend on how the company was dissolved and if another manufacturer stepped in.
