Buying an import from a UK dealer

Motorpoint are selling "new" and "unregistered" Daihatsus and possibly Fords imported from Southern Ireland. The Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 SX which as far as I can tell is not sold in the UK unless as an "import". They say it comes with a 3 year warranty. Are there any problems I should be aware of especially when I come to part exchange it? If there are problems presumably these are compensated by the cheaper price. I should add I have no problems with Motorpoint as a company.

Whose 3 year warranty? Not Daihatsu because they are not importing to the UK. Maybe Motorpoint is buying an insured warranty for them, but you need to be clear about that. Good cars, though. Engine and transmission are Toyota Yaris.
