  and uncomfortable to use and not to mention there was a safety issue a few years back with the Ford Explorer's pedal getting wrapped up in footwell mat and wedging open the throttle with disasterous concequences. So why are the Germans gradually introducing it to all their cars?, and your thoughts?

  about changing the belt - looks like it could be difficult. I've change cam belts on ford pinto's & vauxhall's V6 before which went ok. Anyone done a voyager CRD 16 valve before.

  that is easy to do? I?m going to have to go and buy the rubber fitting fro my local ford dealer, but I?m unsure as to have a go myself or ask a windscreen company to fit it for me. Is this something the likes of Auto Glass etc would do? Cheers Paul

  difference is thier between a mass produced ford/vauxhall and say a mass produced BMW or Merecedes. A relative of mine says that BMW's in Canada do not perform well in Canadian winters as the plastic components in and around the engine bay crack due to the cold. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.
