Will I retain my C1 and C1E categories after a driving ban?

My motorhome is over 3.5 tonnes and I turned 70 in July. I applied to retain the C1 and C1E categories and that worked. But in August, I received a 6-month ban, for speeding. When I apply to get my licence back in February, will it include the C1/C1E, or do I need to apply again, with medical?

If you are disqualified from driving for any reason then when you reapply for your licence it will have the C1 and C1+E categories removed. You will need to complete a D2 application form and a medical to have these categories reinstated.
