and the breakers assured me that it was off a running car , i have fitted it and got it started but it runs terrible ! could the timing be out ? it does say in the manual that the ecu controls the timing but when taking the old pump off and putting the new one on i did notce that the timing sprocket -

The following codes were present in the ecu 0403 EGR control circuit 0100 air mass sensor signal to low 0243 pressure converter boost pressure control When viewing live data the boost pressure appears ok until approx 2krpm at which point it fails to increase further. There are no boost leaks -

on" when changing gear 2. It now produces white smoke when cold I have tried giving the car a long 20mile ish run to make sure the ECU is no longer in learing mode and I have adjusted the throttle cable to no avail. The same applies to the white smoke. Any help would be grately recieved. Thanks -

it didn't play up for them. They suspect something in the ECU, possibly related to a relay in the fuel pump which switches from 'Startup' to 'Running' mode. It's beyond their expertise. Has anyone heard of this relay? Is this a known problem? Problem seems to have started after another garage fixed -

with them this morning and they informed me that they are unable to reset the keypad! They have no idea what to do. The guy told me the last resort is to replace the entire ECU at a cost of £900!!! Surely this must have happened before and there must be a sollution? Please help!! -

code reader plugged in but nothing showed up & it behaved itself. With me driving it continued to cut out as on the first day. Garage told me to lock/unlock it to reset the ecu but that doesn't work for me. Shall I trade it in & get a Jap job???! Have just read horror stories in another thread -
