  hi everybody i just bought a 1996 306 1.8 8 valve with only 20.000 real mileage. The only problem i had is that i tried to change the spark plugs by my own today and found some corrosion and rubish in the plug wells in the cylynder head and now the car is not running well, in fact it didn´t start

  , but how should this new engine be treated? when should I have the oil changed? should I take it on a 3000 mile round trip one week after getting it back? If so should I stop regularly or is it better to just let it run? Definately never want to go through another major failure on an HDi again.
