  Read the "car by car" breakdown on the mondeo diesel and was worried to see 35 mpg quoted in some instances. How have people found the car generally and economy wise? Friend is thinking of getting one as a company car, the other alternative is a Passat 2.0 s petrol. Any thoughts on the above

  Hi, Mind I ask if your 2.0 Mondeo had the new or old engine? I think the new engine is from S-reg onwards but not 100% sure. Also, can you confirm if the new 2.0 engine has hydraulic tappets or mechanical tappets? Thank you very much, Garrison

  My '92 518's rear offside door no longer "centrally locks"; the solenoid doesn't click. I've taken the door panel off (!) and everthing looks intact. Can anyone tell me if there is a relay for the central locking and if so where I can find it?
