  I used to run a Toyota Avensis Estate (1.8) that regularly gave a consumption better than the official combined figure of 36.2 mpg. I now run a Citroen C5 Estate (2.0 110 HDI) and cannot get close to the offical combined figure of 49 mpg (44 is about it !). I am completing very similar journeys

  My cousin runs his early 70's {no road tax} land rover diesel on used engine oil collected by his mate at the local waste disposal site. Uses proper diesel too sometimes. Bad for the environment, but good for his pocket? It tends to run on a bit though, and a little messy filtering the old oil

  it over it seems to drain the fuel from the filter. if i put some easy start down it does start but then stops obviously when the easy start runs out. iv read somewhere that i will need to put the injectors out of the other head into the replacement one. is this right ?? my friend has the snap on solus
