Mk2 Mondeo front wishbone size? 10 Jan 2006 (Forum)
Hey all, I don't know if they need replacing or not but given the reasonably low cost of doing so I thought it would be prudent to replace both front wishbones, including bushes, on my 1999 Mk2 Ford Mondeo 2.0. I have found a source for the wishbones, but I am given two choices of size: w/FUEL -
C5 2.2 HDI uneven tickover 29 Oct 2005 (Forum)
that the particle filter may be coming to the end of its life (the car has now done almost 43K miles) and that it could be the cause of the uneven tickover. The car seems to be running OK otherwise, the fuel consumption having improved recently since I fitted a new air flow pressure sensor to the turbo intake -

Diesel or petrol 29 Oct 2003 (Forum)
average about 10k miles per year. The reason I was looking at diesel is the fear of getting aweful fuel eco from a petrol engine. I was wondering if a diesel would be a better bet for me over the same size petrol engine. Being quite clueless about the comparions I was hoping someone could point out what -

Wrong oil again!! 5 Mar 2001 (Forum)
. This was aggravated by using supermarket fuel which I suspect was gumming up the valves. I asked why he used that particular oil: "all oil is the same" was the reply -
