the car ran out of diesel filled up the tank filled the perflux filter and pumped the primer it will not pump from tank, line is clear can suck fuel from tank it will pump small amount from filter then stop is primer pump faulty

At that age probably, i assume you've got the car going again.

If not remove the filter and fill it with clean fuel before offering it up, that should do the trick.
