  I drive a 2012 Mondeo TDCi 163 Titanium X.  The handbook recommends performance grade diesel, however as I live in rural France I only have regular access to supermarket fuel. Is it Ok to use additives with this fuel to compensate.

  I have just returned from a holiday touring France in my motorcaravan and have noticed some rather strange behaviour on the part of many motorcyclists. After overtaking, they extend their right leg and shake it slightly. Does anyone know the significance of this gesture? Michael

  Taking the car to France, any alternative other than purchasing the Vauxhall converters at £25? Dealer tells me sticking tape on the lens not recommended as it will deteriorate the plastic lens, also the lens gives no clue as to where to put the tape. I know, cheapskate.

  I bought this car new in France in February 2013 and I am very pleased with it, however, in the handbook it says the first service is on 30000km. The oil looks very black, should I have it changed or wait till the service?

  Driving through France recently and every time a biker passed he put his right foot out as if to say merci for letting him past. Is this a true reading of this gesture? Is it peculiar to french bikers? Or are they avoiding DVT?

  Hi all, I am hoping for some advice; I am currently in the South Of France with the family and a humming has developed with the rear near side wheel.  It varies with speed and stops all together when turning courners at speed and so throwing the weight off the wheel We have
