When I take the Megane to France for Easter I assume I will need to put on some of those black headlight deflectors. But I can't see where they should go, there's no indication on the headlight and no clues in the owner manual either.
Can anyone help?

2004 Dynamique, five door. Is that sufficient?

I would be inclined not to. You have polycarbonate lenses that means it hard to get the glue off afterwards without scratching it, and hot spots caused by the tape on the lense may cloud the polycarbonate.
The goona is off to the Vendee this year and I shant bother, just wind the headlamp leveler knob down. Dont intend to be driving much in the dark, too much vino.
Beware according to posts on here the Gendarmes are hot hot hot on speeding.

Once again you have provided me with expert Renault advice, thank you.
My concern is that apparently the Gendarmes can do you for driving with uncorrected headlights even in daylight. I will plead ignorance and stupidity, usually works.
Regarding speeding, yes they are getting hot on this now. But I won't exceed the limit on the motorway anyway, want to get the most from that nice cheap french diesel.
I though I might pop into a Renault dealer whilst I'm there, have a nose around and compare parts costs. Could do with a new wiper blade on the rear, seems to have worn out with the icey weather. Also could do with some jeu de bavettes - mudflaps.

You can now get from Halfords a sticker set designed for all types of headlights even polycarbonate/xenon ones. I think they're called "Eurolights". It comes with diagram of where to stick them on virtually all cars. (I found that only the passenger side needed them though, and kept the other one for next time). They come off fairly easily with a bit of soapy water.
