Was looking at a 1996 automatic volvo 850 GLT. When i started it up the engine was running fine. The 'lamba' light on the dashboard was on. Does this mean it is time to replace the sensor or is the sensor faulty. have been told that after so many miles the light comes on to say service -
Golf Mk3 Ignition info 25 Oct 2006 (Forum)
. Relay 30 made no improvement, so I purchased a new CI sensor from GSF. The CI sensor is fitted into the block under the front engine mounting bracket and it's wires run beside the engine oil dipstick tube. The old sensor outer wire covering and inner insulation on the 3 wires fell apart when I removed -
Rover 414 Cuts out 31 Aug 2006 (Forum)
. If you then depress the clutch or take it out of gear it will tick over apparently normally, although maybe a little rough. If you tap the accelerator the revs dip, and if you press it enough it will stall. Leaving the engine running for a while, or turning off and re-starting it straight away, doesn't -

Insurance groups + which car? 11 Jan 2004 (Forum)
, no-garage address) 2) The car will have lots of short start-stop runs from cold, probably averaging 50 miles per day. Is a petrol or a diesel engine better able to cope with that sort of (ab)use? 3) I'm 6' 5" tall, with a dodgy back. The Skoda Fabia and the C2 seem pretty good for leg room (I'm -
Question to Passat owners about... 2 Nov 2003 (Forum)
it checked by VW who say there is no problem, but I'm not convinced since I had a temp gauge problem which according to them did not exist but I changed the temp sensor and the problem is sorted. VW also told me to expect between 26-30mpg around town, is that accurate? On a run from London to Luton I -

How many other back roomers run a 'Commercial' vehicle for private use? As many of you know I drive a SWB Renault Trafic van 2.4T gross weight as a private vehicle for property renovation, in the same way that some people may get an old banger for the same purpose. I have problems at tips etc -

Mondeo Automatic - 2.0 or 2.5 9 Apr 2003 (Forum)
, hopefully cheaper to buy and run, but with the luxuries like leather etc. I have become used to. The Volvo is a manual, but I'd like to switch to an auto. Anyway, should I go for a 2.0 or 2.5 Ghia X Auto? Clearly, the 2.0 will be cheaper to insure and run, but is it underpowered with an auto box? I am -
Ford TDCI oil changes 21 Feb 2003 (Forum)
-service oil changes. He says the fully-synthetic oil my Mondeo uses is such high-spec these days that it will not have broken down at all after 6,000. Especially as 90% of my miles are long-range journeys on the motorway i.e. the engine runs at temperature. BTW, I presume the Ford dealership, servicing -
Volvo 360 GLE MOT problem 5 Jan 2003 (Forum)
