Volvo V60 (2018 on)

Estate 2.0 D3 150hp Momentum Pro Start+Stop 5dr
Lovely car. Poor quality and manufacturer support
The frustrating thing is that the car is any many ways ideal for my needs. Its comfortable, quiet, fairly economical, very practical and very relaxing on a long motorway journey. The tech is fine for my needs and when everything works it feels like a car I would keep for a long time. However.....
Overall too many things have gone wrong and that's been really disappointing. This is my third Volvo and the S40 and V70 I had previously built up high mileages with absolutely no issues. The mileage on this is less (I'm only doing 10-12k per year) and its not yet six years old. The issues have been a mix of well known V60 issues (boot strut failures), poor reliability (steering column failure) and just regular issues that require the car to be taken off the road for treatment (engine lights etc). It's not good enough and the Volvo Customer Care have no interest. Fortunately I've found a good independent specialist who is being kept busy.
So, no I wouldn't recommend. It looks great on the driveway but its always good to have a Plan B if you want to go anywhere. My last Volvo sadly
