Is a Porsche Macan Diesel a good used buy?
I live in Spain (Mallorca) and used to have a 2014 Porsche Macan Diesel up until three years ago when we emigrated. I'd rather like to replace it but diesel examples tend to be high mileage (though cheaper than petrol models). I can see two online at official Porsche garages but in one case the "mileage" is 202k KM. This is the official Porsche dealership in Valencia. Should I be worried by the mileage? By and large being on an island our mileage isn't high but once a year we may end up with long journeys either to southern Spain or the UK.

A higher mileage does not necessarily make a used car a risky choice, assuming that it is priced accordingly and that it has a comprehensive service history that shows it has been well cared for. It is worth considering if diesel is the right choice if your annual mileage is low - the DPF will need regular longer journeys to ensure it can regenerate or it could become blocked and cause further issues.

We rather need to replace our high mileage and well worn 2004 Ford Fiesta. Still good to drive and almost completely reliable apart from troublesome front springs.
