Brilliant car.

It’s a two litre petrol family car, with punchy torque (peaks at 1100-3500rpm), returns over 50mpg on a commute and and it’s seriously comfortable.

It’s precise and firm in corners and inspires confidence with Goodyear tyres.

Serves well as a reliable and safe family car, yet also capable of being fun and responsive.

Really disappointed to see Volvo have discontinued it. I bought mine nearly new with 3,500 miles on the clock, and I’d have bought another.

Looks better than the Focus it shares a platform with, and also better looking than the BMW 1 series and Audi A3.

One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I’ll be holding onto it.
