love the car hate vw customer service or complete lack of it!!!

Great car only minor niggles until this week when 2 weeks after mot i got a popping/knocking noise from under centre console.Took it straight to the dealers who declared it unroadworthy and unsafe to drive,they did the mot test less than 2 weeks earlier!! the centre bearing on the prop/cardan shaft had failed i needed £978 of work to replace it .The car has covered 69000 miles and been dealer serviced from new,as it is just over 5 years old vw do not want to know and will not consider a goodwill payment at all,they have been rude,condesending and failed to do what they said they would,their LUXURY car department talk down to you and are the worst examples of customer care that i have ever come across.The car is agreat car but when you spend that sort of money on a vehicle you expect it to be of a much better quality than this prop shafts should not be failing so fast,i dread to think what might have happened on the motorway at speed with the children in ,if buying bare this in mind
