Better than expected i dont like the name Jetta but i love the car.

I bought this Jetta from a dealers in Bradford with 7 miles on the clock and I traded in my much loved Passat. Trading down was not going to be easy leather heated seats etc.

We down sized from a high spec company car but wanted another Volkswagen which would be fun to drive, quick and reliable and safe for my partner in her long trips up and down the motorways and around town. The Golf was a little to pricy and we needed the secure boot space for security.

The car had never had a fault I really can not remember even a minor issue. Its getting to the end of its time as I normally sell after 3 years but I don't want to let it go and it still looks in mint condition. I have had a Golf GTI and this car is nearly as good to drive and feels so solid on the road just like the Golf. Pity about the emissions scandal because their cars are so good.

I have recently found one fault the hand brake only bites at the top setting but I am sure this is fixable at the next service. This really is the only fault I have ever had.

The boot is long so parking by modern standards is not as easy as for some cars but its nimble and light to control so not an issue even my partner is happy to park it. And no she's not better than me I just like to take my time sometimes.

I have a new Peugeot crossover which is full of gadgets and is a nice car however it has now been stolen by my partner 'it plays her music from her phone', its hands free, etc. So I have to drive the Jetta now everyday.

I don't mind though because when I'm driving in heavy rain on the M20 on my way to work or going home I feel safe and secure and I still love to drive it. It looks good, it feels good and I can get radio 5 live who needs gadgets. It feels a lot safer on the road to drive than the big modern crossover.

One of my best choices ever.
