simply a brilliant car in almost every respect

I bought this car as a replacement for my GTI Performance.Never having driven an R before but having read numerous reviews of the car I have to say that the car has lived up to all my expectations and more. This is without doubt the best car that I have owned or driven in 45 years of car ownership. The driving experience is brilliant and the car can be used as an every day car as it is so easy to drive and live with.I cannot really find fault with the car other than I would have liked a rear view camera as standard and mine has the 18 inch Cadiz wheels whereas I would have preferred the 19 inch Pretorias. My only other gripe is that the cost of servicing at my local VW dealership is not exactly cheap.Having said this I cannot complain about the fuel consumption which is roughly 32 on short journeys and up to 38 on motorway journeys.I would recommend this car wholeheartedly.
