Vauxhall Zafira (2005 - 2014)
2.2 Automatic
As a disability car, it drive well and take the extra load well
The drivers seat is comfortable and quite relaxing, the pedel are within easy reach except when breaking, one really has to move the leg, not just the foot. Easy reach with the controls all but the window switch, your hand tend to operate the rear windows first and have to stretch out for the front window switches The gear stick is nice and comfortable and easy to find without looking. It eccelaration is very good and breaking is also good, it steer well without drifing but will wear the tyres out if taking round about or bends to fast. Alround vision is good although the front piller are a bit of a blind spot
However, the wife and I did buy this car mainly because of the boot,as the wife is disabled her shopping scooter fits perfectly well in the back and still have two passenger inside. Can't say about the car tax as its a mobiliy car but fuel consumption is quite high.
The only down side is the display screen is telling you you are low on fuel, the fuel gauge is saying I've a quarter of a tank left (about 2/3 gallons) and more concerning there is no ashtray fitted ( with litter laws as they stand it's a bit strange)
