Nowhere near as good as previous model
This model has 10 bhp less than the preceding Corsa 'D' 1.4 and the lack of performance is very apparent.
Contrary to most reviews, the interior is not as good either. The switches are over complicated especially those for the speed limiter and cruise control which occupy far too much of the driver's attention.
I have to crane my neck to look around the steering wheel in order to see the time and date on the central display screen and there is too little travel in the gear leaver, making selection of the wrong gear too easy.
There are often strong reflections in the windscreen, from the top of the dash.
There is a rattle from the front end when reversing. The dealer failed to find the reason for it.
The steering is too light.
