Overall i like the car but think economy could be a little better my last car was a 53 plate golf GT TDI 130 which was better doing around 44,45 mpg round town astra more like 40 computer always states 39 to 41.its just as nice to drive as a golf my bug bear is all the lights that come on when opening from all dashboard to light on mirror interior lights and registration lights I blame them for reason I've changed battery twice,being elite it has everything cruise control rear electric dimming mirror auto lights and wipers heated adjustable temp leather seats,electric driver's seat climate control etc,in 3 years I've replaced clutch and slave master cylinder and typically egr valve ,which I've learnt to do myself ,would like a bit more power from 1.9 CDTi elites top of range but only available as 120 brand new cost £22,555 only £250 less than a vxr shame it doesn't hold its value as well,in 3 years it's always gone straight through an MOT with no advisories with 118,000 miles.
