Design 1.6i 16v 3dr Hatchback

c*** , GM has ruined Vauxhall

I bought my 2008 Astra Design for £2000 with only 75000 miles on the clock from a dealer in High Wycombe but since i bought it had nothing but problems after only 2 weeks had to take car back as ECU was faulty , a coolant sensor failed causing the car to lose power , so garage fixed that but then a week later same fault again but this time ECU said gearbox failure , i did notice the gears were very stiff, is such a shame General Motors in America put their c*** parts in such a nice looking car, the Astra was so nice to drive when working very comfy and fast on Motorway 140mph from a 1.6 not bad but anyway in the end had to swap this car at the dealer for a diesel instead as wanted something that would get me from A to B without blowing up lol , my advice guys buy German or Japanese cars, never buy British,French or Italian unless you like car rebuilds on a weekly basis, i am ashamed of Vauxhall as the car i had before an old X reg Suzuki Wagon R went on forever with only minor problems, seems to me in the 21st century car build quality has gone downhill.Also on one last point Fuel economy was terrible i never knew a 1.6 litre was a Ferrari engine LOL seriously guys it cost me £10 to go 35 miles not good.
